Big Apple Adevnture

I was SO excited to be a part of VBS at our church this year. I missed last year because Sutton was such a new little guy.

This year I was the Lead Teacher for Cannon's class. It was a lot of work, I had the help of severals other mamas and I loved it.

It got a little crazy, there were few stressful moments but all and all it was the best way to spend my week. The lessons we learned have really stuck with Cannon and he is still talking about the bible stories and the activties we did.

Leadership Giving Day at Riverbanks

Looks like we had a great day at the zoo!!





This was our first time visiting the zoo with Daddy. Enterprise hosted a day at the zoo with a luncheon for top United Way donors. Cannon was so excited to show his zoo to Daddy. Our first stop...GIRAFFES! Then we had to see the Howler Monkeys.

Memorial Day Weekend...Redneck Yacht Club

My Dad, aka Grampy, has a boat and when we visit Horry County it usually involves a boat trip. Here are some pics from our most recent adventure.

Swimming

Today was Cannon's 4th swim lesson and he was AMAZING. He was swimming to his intructor and from her to the edge of the pool, independently and underwater. AMAZING!

Dippin' Dots

Sutton got this Twlight Turtle for his birthday. The turtle now lives in Cannon's room, Imagine that!

Anyway, we were looking at the constellations a few nights ago and I showed him the Big Dipper. I don't think he really understood the concept but he giggled a little.

Tonight, we are laying in bed and he turns on the turtle and says, "Mommy, will you show me the Dippin' Dots".

walker boy

i think its official, we have a walker.

he's not great at it. he falls. but instead of crawling like he did before, he gets right back up and keeps walking.
