Strong
One night last week, Cannon was praying..."Thank you God for making me strong, thank you God for making me so strong that I can hit my Daddy and make him cry".

Blessed
i hope sutton will always know that he is a blessed little boy. cannon loves him so much.
today on the way to school, cannon said, "mommy i saw my baby when i was in the gym and i said 'hi, sutton'".
after school, his teacher says that cannon came over to sutton when they were in the gym and hugged him. (so sweet).
on the way home, cannon said "i saw my baby in the gym today. i gave him a big hug". i wish you could have seen the look on his face and have heard his words, he was beaming with pride. i said with tears in my eyes, "sutton is so blessed to have you as a brother".
cannon said, "God made me a big brother, i need to pray".
prayer:
dear God,
thank you so much for making sutton and making me a big brother.
amen.
precious.

Gift from God
I recently met a lady at one of my jewelry shows, Kady. She came to be one of my hostesses and at her show I learned that her 3 year old has an rare inoperable brain tumor, Brainstem Glioma. The tumor was discovered on 4/30/2008 during a MRI for macrocephaly (a fancy, medical way of saying he has a big head :) (Kady's words not mine).
Matthew's name means "Gift from God". In the Introduction of Matthew's webpage Kady closes with, "Giving our 'Gift from God' back to Him".
I wanted to share her story because Kady's faith and trust in God is remarkable and I hope that if I ever face such a trial I can be a beacon for God like her. Please take a moment to visit her site and add precious little Matthew to your prayer list.

House Update
We would like to ask everyone to continue to pray for our home in Savannah. Specifically, we need the following prayers 1- that is will sell quickly or 2- that we can rent it.
Our Bylaws/Covenants state that only 20% of the homes can be rentals. If you did not have a rental prior to April 2006 you cannot rent it UNLESS you apply for a hardship grant. We are currently preparing our paperwork for the hardship grant. I have been told by the HOA that they already have 20% on rent, which makes our chances slim.
I know we serve a mighty God and that 20% means nothing to Him! He can make it happen. So please pray with us!
We also are looking for places here in Charleston to rent. We are looking for a house. We think we are going to move from Summerville and maybe to James or John's Island. We have decided we want to be close to the beach. No, we have decided that we will no be buying anything, anytime soon! We think we will only be here 3 years and we do not want to be in the same situation again. So pray that we can find the "perfect" home for us. Since we are going to be there for a while, we would like a larger home with a yard for Cannon. Obviously, selling or renting our home in Savannah would help a lot in this pursuit!
