Wear Your Helmut!

Gigi and Grandpa got Cannon a Woody for Christmas (which we celebrated this past Saturday). He was so excited. He carried Woody around, slept with him, covered him with his "cozy".

He has shown so much love for Woody that I was amazed last night when I noticed that someone had biten Woody's nose. When I asked Cannon what happened he told me, " I bite his nose". I reprimanded him and gave Woody back to him. Then he bit his nose again! Basically, Woody has half a nose now.

So as we lay in bed last night, I told him Buzz and Jesse would not come live with him if he was going to bite them. He said,

"Well...Well...Buzz better put his helmut on so he doesn't get a bite".

Peter Pan

Monday Cannon watched Peter Pan for the first time. He has watched it ALLLLL week.

Yesterday, he was playing and he had a small clothes hanger in his hand with the hook pointed out. He was walking around saying he was Captain Hook.

In the beginning of the movie, two of the boys are pretending and one is using a clothes hanger as a hook.

I thought it was cute.

My Superhero

Cannon likes to pretend he is a superhero since he watched an episode of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse in which Goofy was a superhero. Evert=y superhero needs a proper cape. Here is my little superhero.

Cool Trick

This is Cannon's favorite "cool trick". He does this all the time and is actually pretty good. I was videotaping him with our video camera so by the time I got around to using my camera I think he was a bit tired. It is still really cute, enjoy.

Bowling

A couple of month ago, an Enterprise employee was retiring and they had a party at the bowling alley. We took Cannon. He LOVED it! So a few days after Sutton was born we took him for a big brother outing to bowl. Here is a little video.

BASEBAAAAALLLLLLLLLL!

Last Friday, we met our friends at a River Dogs game. He was a little distracted by his best friend, Dev, but I think he still enjoyed it. He has not stopped playing baseball since. We literally have to "pitch", "catch" and "hit" EVERY day!!!!

POOOOL!!!!!

Around April 22, we pulled out Cannon's pool. It was very warm outside but the water was not! Cannon was so excited. I filled the pool, he asked if he could get in and...

he immediately took off his swimsuit and jumped in!

He squealed and giggled with such delight! It was soooooo fun to watch.

The Hill

Recently we took Cannon to Wannamaker Park. It was a gorgeous day and it was packed!! It was actually crazy! If you added up every single person I have ever seen at that park in ALL the times I have been there including during the Summer it would not come close to the amount of people that were there! Again, crazy!

There is a huge hill at this park that Cannon has always been attracted to but today was different! Check out the video:

Al the kids were "sledding" down the hill on cardboard. I have a feeling that this may have come about after our recent snow storm and I was quite sad that we missed the opportunity for Cannon to go sledding here. Regardless, all the kids were having a GREAT time without snow!! Since Cannon did not have a piece of cardboard (and really did not get the concept anyway). He chose to go up and down the hill as you see in this video above. Pretty cute, huh?

P90x

Cannon is obsessed with exercise. It started this summer when I was doing stroller strides. He would beg to go to class. Now he is lovin' P90x. He asks Brett to turn the videos on every night, he sets up his mat and gets busy. Here is a video:

Mommy Shoes

This video really makes no sense. Cannon doesn't really answer any of my questions but it is still cute.

Brett was impressed by this video.

Zipline

Several weeks ago I took Cannon to Rolly Pollies and he tried this zipline for the first time. He was amazing! No one could believe it was his FIRST time. The video below is more recent but he did exactly the same thing his first try!

Merry Christmas (Late)

Most of you know of our train table saga...well, it has ended!

The table arrived, has been put together and enjoyed! It is a beautiful hand crafted birch table. It even smells pretty. So much better than the one at Target that was such a hassle!

Thanks Grampy for the train table, Cannon loves it.

New Hat

Like my new hat? Mom and I found this HUGE leaf and it was bigger than my head! So we thought it would make a nice hat! Do you like my smile?

Nativity

I am so excited, I have my VERY own nativity set!

Do you like my new smile? Mommy says, "smile" and I do.

Have you noticed how long my hair is? I refuse to get a haircut.
Mommy has taken me twice and I said , "no, no".

Do you see the baby Jesus? Mommy says he is supposed to be in the stable with his Mom but I think he deserves to be on top and that is where I keep Him.

A video of Cannon with his nativity.
Please take note of his "dancing" shoulder. :)
He tries to let Jesus ride on the horse and then tosses a sheep!

At Play

This week Elmo got hurt and I had to hug and kiss him. Elmo was outside and got cold so we had to swaddle him.

His Monkey (from Marmie) played golf, rode a 4 wheeler and made handprints in the sand. He also got hurt and needed a hug from Mommy. Monkey also ate pancakes and Nerds.

Cannon picked up his bat and handed me a baseball and said, "pitch"! He also gave his friend Devric the bat and said, "Canton pitch". That is what he calls himself.

He loves to pretend too.

He made a choo choo train with a long line of blocks.
He turned Monkey into a bird and he went flying through the air, many times.
He loves to sit on his kitchen and pretend it is a horse. He says, "Go Go, Sorsie".
We made a tent a few weeks ago from a camera tripod, a sheet and a few other things in his room and he is crazy over this tent.

Last night, he got his Halloween candy bucket and went around saying "trick or treat" so of course I gave him candy, which only fueled the madness.
