ANNA!

My little girlfriend, Anna came to visit me! Oh, how I love her so. While she was here we exhanged gifts and I got a COOL farm with a Piggy! On Friday, my Mommy made guacamole and Anna ate like a Piggy! She was shoveling that stuff down, I am going to need a SERIOUS job when it comes time to take her on dates!

We got our hair cut, on Saturday well Anna did, I just got a nip here and a tuck there. I hate haircuts and really showed everyone in that place how much! I might be banned from going back! I sure hope so. I have decided that I want surfer hair , Mommy keeps insisting on a shorter style. Well, I think I showed her this timAnna was an angel, of course! WHY do my friends like haircuts?? Strange little people.

My Mommy and I made cookies for Anna and I to decorate. I made the ones above that are sooooo pretty! It was really fun, we liked eating the sprinkles best of all.

Anna likes sprinkles.

This is FUN!

Sprinkles are for hands not cookies!

She is soooooo cute!

Christmas ADVENTure

A shoot will come up from the stump of Jesse;

from his roots a Branch will bear fruit. -Isaiah 11:1

---

We are so excited that Cannon is old enough to begin memorable Christmas traditions. We are spending a lot of time talking about how we are celebrating the birth of Jesus this month. We are already planning a birthday party!!

So we decided to make a Jesse tree to help trace Jesus' family tree.Cannon working on the tree, we needed sand and rocks to hold it up.

The finished product.

Each day we read a scripture about one of Jesus' ancestors and make an ornament to correspond to the scripture.

I can...

finally say "love you". This makes Mom and Dad happy.

Give

Tonight we volunteered at the Palmetto House, a residential facility for the homeless and a soup kitchen. It was a great experience.

When we first got there we joined a little family at the back of the room. The little boy, Dale, befriended Cannon. He instantly became Cannon's friend. He said, " I have a present for you" and brought Cannon a little dog from his apartment. Then he gave him a pudding.

A few minutes later...
"Does Cannon have a Christmas tree?"
"Yes"
"Well, I have something for him, an ornament. He can have it for his tree, because I do not have a tree".

I was so touched by this small child that has so little and was still willing to give. What will you give this holiday season?

Leaves

Cannon and I raked leaves this week. He instinctively jumped into the pile without prompting.
