15 Months

Yes, this babe is 15 months old and just in case you do not get the idea from these pictures...he is ADORABLE!

He is so fun, so rotten and so sweet.

Weight 24 pounds 6 oz - ONLY 50th percentile!!

Height 2 feet and 7.7 inches -75th percentile

About the Babe:

He prays. He will put his hands together and say "pray" before meals and sometimes a random times. So cute.

He sings. He can do motions to "Twinkle, Twinkle" and "Itsy Bitsy Spider". He LOVES music.

He knows tons of animal sounds: quack, moo, meow, woof, baa, roar, growl. He also makes a cute fishy face.

He signs "more", "nurse", "food" , " all done", "more", "car", "light", "airplane" and "fan". Probably a few I am forgetting. I really wish I had taught him more he really seems to think it is great to sign.

He LOVES books. He will jsut pick book after book for naptime and bedtime. He says "book, book, rea". He has favorites: "What Do You Say?", "Chicka Chicka Boom Boom", some crazy Alligator Puppet Book (I will check the name), and several touch and feel books. He also loves several books with "real" pictures of people, animals, things, etc.

LOVES the cats and they are very tolerate of him, more so that Cannon.

He LOVES to give kisses, high fives, and hugs.

He also is a hitter! He hits poor Cannon ALL THE TIME. I think Cannon is scared of this little guy. He will just randomly hit him with whatever object is in his hand.

And TANTRUMS! Oh my! I do not remember Cannon ever just throwing himself on the floor. Sutton does it quite often. He will hit(me) when he doesn't get his way, pout, cry and just be rotten.

And with that being said, he is still such a sweet, happy and content little person.

Sutton is the smartest little thing. He really seems to pick up things so easily. I wonder if that is just a second born thing? He is very observant and will do things that I never thought he could. He is great at following directions and understands so many things when we ask him questions. I will say things not expecting a response and he will shakes his head and say "yeah" or "yep".

He LOVES Brett's Lipton Diet Green Tea. YES, I have told Brett he should not have it and its still this thing they do. :)

He is a joy, a blessing and he are so honored that we are his family!

I am 23 months old!

I am 23 months old. I am amazing if I do say so myself. Can you believe I am almost TWO???

Well, believe it! I am changing everyday. I know that I have not been doing a good job with my monthly updates, but I am a busy boys these days.

New things about me:
I love Mickey Mouse. He is my pal. I have a stuffed Mickey and he likes to do everything I do. He colors with chalk, eats pancakes and plays with playdoh. Mommy and I each hold Mickey's hand to help him walk down the stairs. I love to say, "Oh Toodoodles" like Mickey and I also now say, "Oh Mommy, Oh Daddy" thanks to Anna.

Speaking of Daddy, when I call him and he doesn't answer I start saying, "Braaat, Braaat".

My favorite saying are: "Hold you, Mommy" and "Cannon does it". I use the later one all the time. I think Mommy gets annoyed with me, especially when I want to cook my own breakfast, pour my own milk, etc. I think she will appreciate it one day.

I still LOVE music, singing and dancing. I am always amazing the parents with all the songs I know!

Speaking of songs. I love to sing "Rock a bye, Baby" to my baby brother. I lay on Mommy's tummy and rock back and forth and sing to the baby. I am always cracking Mommy up with my conversations to the baby. I also like to take the baby's "hand" (by putting my hand on Mommy's belly) and then I take the baby places and show him stuff. I also read him books. I really love to give him kisses and hugs.

I counted to 14 last week while I was playing with my playdoh with NO HELP and I counted 16 steps with Daddy.

I know more colors too. I still prefer to say everything is GREEN but I know pink, green, brown, purple, black and white. This week Mommy asked me about the color pink and I amazed her by telling her Reagan (my neighbors) Barbie car was pink. I just knew this all on my own. She was impressed!

I am a big helper too. I help Mommy do the laundry, vaccum, sweep, dust and even help Daddy fix things.

Lately, I have been putting myself in timeout. If I do something bad, Mommy will say "No, Cannon do not throw that" and I say, "Time out" and go get in my chair. I do not need anyone to tell me when I am bad. I already know!

One of the things I say that Mommy thinks is cute is "C'mon Grammy" and I wave my hand at him to come. I also say "C'mon you guys" to my stuffed animals.

I am big, cute and quite the entertainer. I am pretty sure my parents think I am the BEST! Well, I AM you know.

I AM 18 months old!

Can you believe that I am 18 months old?
Well, it is true...
I am ALMOST TWO!
I saw my pediatrician today, Dr. Tripp.
She thinks I am so funny.
I think I impressed her today with my ABC's. She also pointed pictures out to me from my book and I even told her what they were! Yes, she was impressed. :)
I even let her look in my ears...and they are perfect. Have you people even noticed that I have not been sick ONCE since my surgery????
I got two shots and that made me very upset but "Maama"
did give me two lollipops to make up for it.
Lately, Dada has been saying that I was getting skinny and Maama did not believe him. Well, today I only weighed 28.3 lbs which is in the 80th percentile (I have always been 90-98th in weight). I am 33.75 inches long (90th percentile, getting taller) and my head is 48cm
(75th percentile).
Mom promises to put up an 18 month photo this week but she keeps saying I need a haircut first. :)

I AM 16 months old!

Can you believe how big I am?
Oh yes! Big I , I am!
I am 16 month old today!

You would not believe all the things I can say and do!
Oh, the words I can say!
So many words, if my mom typed them all it would take all day!

At my last doctor's appointment I weighed 28.6 pounds (75th percentile) and my height also dropped to the 75th percentile. Cannot remember exactly how long I was!

If you follow my blog at all, you know all about me.
Just in case you do not follow my moms amazing blog, a little about me,
I am a walker and a runner, I serious climber,
A great eater, a seriously funny comedian, an accomplished dancer,
A golfer that even Tiger Woods would be jealous of, I am my Mommy's boy for sure,
I love cats like crazy and I am beginning to really like dogs too.
I love music and crayons, paint too.
I still do not like church nursery but I no longer cry the entire hour.

I love baths and bubbles, I still wear cloth diapers and I love babies.
I love to read and Chicka Chicka, Boom Boom is my favorite.
My favorite food is yogurt.
I am learning to use a potty!

I have all my teeth except my second year molars!
I have many friends and I am a happy boy!

This is my lady killer smile.

Can you see how much bigger I am than this bear? Do you remember some of my older pictures with this bear? Yeah...I know BIG and HANDSOME that is MOI!

I love to give hugs and kisses. Especially to my animal friends and my little human friends too. For some reason, I seem to be the kid that other kids like to hit!

Why?? I am a lover and not a fighter!

You see these teeth? I have almost all my teeth now. Thank the good Lord! Teething is miserable for me and all bystanders! Now, I can eat everything including hard granola. And yes, Mimi WHOLE grapes!

I am a sweet boy, so my Mom and Dad says! I am getting bigger every day!

This is me and today I am 16 months old.

I am ONE YEAR old!

Can you believe that I was born one year ago today? Well, I was.

I am ONE YEAR old!

Let me tell you what it is like to be ONE!

First of all, I weigh in at 26 pounds and I am ___ inches tall! (I am asleep right now, so Mom cannot measure me, measurements to be continued).
Well, of course you know that I have been walking for THREE months now, I am a walking machine. I can walk so fast now, I even try to run. Especially, when the neighbor kids come over. They run everywhere and I try to mimic them. I think it is so fun to watch them run. I cannot wait until I am big and know how to run.

Once, I mastered that walking thing, I started to become a chatterbox. Mom and Dad do not understand anything I say. Well, that is not completely true. Mom comes running when I say, "MumMumMum". I say "ba" for "bye-bye". My newest and bestest word is...COT!

I have two cots and I think they are so exciting. I love pulling their hair and sometimes
Oliver lets me kiss him. I like to call my Grampy's dog a "cat" too!I can also say "out". I use it when I want "out" of the tub or when I throw things "out" of the tub. I occasionally say, "Hi" and wave. Mom has been trying to teach me sign language for months, I do not really care for it. I can sign, "fan", sometimes when Mommy asks where it is. I also can say, "O" when I drop something.

I eat food like a big boy now. I feed myself. I like most things, especially this white fluffy stuff. I think Mom calls it "rice". I call it YUMMO. My absolute, my favorite food in the whole world is STILL YOGURT! I could eat it all day! I can drink out of a cup when I want too. I do not like it when I am teething. Speaking of teething, I have eight teeth now.

I can do so much...

I can hit balls with my bat (on the tee of course). I hit them everytime. I have a great "eye". I can also hit my stupid penguin right upside the head with that bat!

I LOVE, LOVE music. When I hear it I just have to dance. I cannot help it!

My body starts movin' to the beat, I've got rhythm.

I can give you a "Hi FIVE" and I can wave Bye-Bye and say "Ba". I can also say "Hi" when I want too.

I am kind of shy and I am a real Mommy's boy. I just LOVE my Mommy.

Oh, I LOVE to turn off the TV. I think it is GREAT, especially when Dad has something "paused". Mom keeps telling him to record the things he really likes but he refuses. So he pauses his favorite little show and then walks away to get a drink, etc. THEN I strike! Off goes the TV and Dad misses the best part of the show. Pretty funny!

Well, I am sure there is more to tell but for now, enjoy these pictures.

Here I am at 10 days old.

This is me at four weeks old.

This is me at ONE Year! Wow, how I have changed.

Can you believe how small I was?

I AM 9 Months Old!

Today I am 9 months old!

I am getting big and I have an even BIGGER personality.

I know what I like and exactly what I hate!

I weigh 22 pounds and 12 ounces ( 95th percentile) and I am 28 inches long (50th percentile). Do you think I am going to be a shorty like my Mom?? My head is in the 50th percentile too, but Mom forgot the measurements.
I recently decided that I only like yogurt. If anything else is on my spoon and make a disgusted face and refuse to eat it! YOGURT, Please!

I can do lots of things: feed myself with a pincher grasp, point, reach for Mommy or Daddy, walk assisted (and since I have been composing this letter I have taken my first unassisted steps too!). Apparently, my doctor thinks I am supposed to wave "bye-bye" but my parents do not wave "bye-bye" so we will have to see if I ever learn to do that.

I think my dad is hilarious, especially when he plays with a ball. I love to watch it bounce and fall. It cracks me up!

I like for people to read to me and I love chew on books. I still am not crazy about riding in the car but I have learned to take naps in it sometimes.

I hate to sleep at night and wake my Mom up quiet often. If they would just stop moving and get settled maybe I would learn to sleep like I did in Savannah.

We have a new house, but I guess you all know that. Mom and Dad have "Cannon- Proofed" everything and I have lots of space to play!

I am growing very quickly and I cannot wait to show you all my new moves!!

Love- Cannon

I am FOUR months old!

I have been delaying this post until I met with my pediatrician.
I wanted you all to know how perfect she thinks I am.
So yeah, technically I am 18 weeks old,
but as my Mommy says I do what pleases me...
And I am very pleased to NOW give you my update!
First of all, I am BIG!
I weigh 18 pounds 6 ounces ( 95th percentile) and I am 25 inches long ( 50-75th percentile).
Apparently, my head is 42 centimeters and is in the 95th percentile.
Will I have a big head like Davis?

I got vaccinations today and I hated it!
This is what they did...it all started with Mom needing to go to the restroom.
She went and this nurse offered to hold me. She went out in the hallway and then all these ladies were surrounding me! They just loved "the chubby baby". So, I thought I would give them a show. I started blowing my bubbles, making my "razz" sound (a sound my doctor says I should not be making until 6 months--I've been doing it for weeks now). Sorry-I got sidetracked. Anyway, I was making my razz sound and those girls were eating it up!
We were all laughing and then they took me back into THE room. First, they put this yucky stuff in my mouth and I spit almost all of it out! Yuck!

Then the next thing you know I felt FOUR bee stings. I SCREAMED, my face turned RED and I cried crocodile tears!

AWFUL!

So, back to the good stuff!

I can hold my head, very well, if I do say so myself!

I can hold it at a 90 degree angle on my belly.

I can squeal in delight and do it quite often!

As a matter of fact, a few weeks ago, my dad and I laughed so hard at each other that he was crying!

I still like my Einstein mat. However, this one dumb chicken hanging on that thing refuses to come off! I pull and pull and even scream until FINALLY I get that thing off! AND THEN, it appears again! Hanging, mocking me! Mom says it is a duck and not a chicken! Whatever, I hate that dumb chicken!

I can hold just about anything and I am quite fond of my Eric Carle, Hungry Caterpillar! He has become a great distraction, when needed!

I LOVE it when Mommy manipulates my little body, especially while singing "Wheels on the Bus". That is my new favorite song and we even taught it to Dad!

I got a bible and my Dad read me my first bible story this week. I really enjoyed this quality time with him!

I still enjoy taking my daytime naps in my swing and I must snuggle with my blue blankie from Aunt Lizard for every nap! I actually took a nap in my crib this week and even slept in it THREE hours one night! Wow, progress!

I am a FISH! I love the bathtub and the pool. Splashing is my new thing!Speaking of fish, I am going to be a Fisher Man like my dad! We love to watch fishing shows together.

But seriously, how many fishing shows can one man watch? I am tried of "watching", let's go fishing already.

I can make a lot of different sounds. I make a "Mmmm- mmmm- mmaaa" sound when I am tired. I have a really "good" squeal when I get hungry to let Mommy know when to "speed" it up!

Mom decided to start using cloth diapers and so far, so good. Just wait until I start eating real food, Haha!

A couple of weeks ago, I was in the library laughing, blowing bubbles and squealing for half an hour. People thought I was hilarious! Apparently, you are supposed to be quite in a library--not me! Next week, I start my Mother Goose and Friends Class. It is at the library! Should I be quiet this time?

I now have a playgroup that meets at my "crib" every other week. I have new friends! My friends Rylee and Parker are twins and they were born on the same day as me! We are only hours apart in age! Cool!

Dad likes his job and is getting back in the gym too! Mom is enjoying her jewelry business and loves being a Mommy to Meeeeeee! We all think Summerville is great and have been looking around at houses. Mom says please pray that our Savannah house sells soon, she wants out of our cute but little apartment.

Everyone I meet says that I am so happy, so beautiful (I am a BOY, handsome is the correct term), so well-behaved (you should see me in the evening, heheeeeeeeeeeee), and so juicy (I am not a fruit).

People LOVE me!

I love you all and hope to see you soon. From what I understand a rode trip is planned for July! Maybe, I'll get to see some of you then!

Don't forget to check my blog OFTEN for updates on ME!

I am ONE month old!

Today, I am one month old!

I weigh 9 pounds and 2 ounces and I am 23 inches long.

I am growing so quickly.

This week, I stayed awake for long periods of time

and spent hours looking at my mommy and talking to her.

I even gave her a real smile (I am advanced for my age!).

On Thursday night, I slept in my crib for the first time.

I think that was really hard on my Mommy,

she thinks I am growing up to fast!

I really enjoy my nightly baths and "story time" before bed.

I still hate having my diaper changed

but Mom and Dad hung a mobile above my changing table

and it sometimes distracts me from my diaper change.

I love to cuddle and sleep in Mom and Dad's arms.

Oliver and Graham are still scared of me!

I am still eating every 2.5 - 3 hours.

Mom nurses me around 11 pm each night

and many nights I do not wake her again until 3 am!

Then, I like to eat again around 6-7 am.

Mom and Dad are still trying to figure me out!

It is fun to watch these "amateurs", as I always keep 'em guessing!

Basically, I am a happy boy!

Apparently, I am pretty cute too,

as Mom and Dad seem to never tire of kissing me!
