Boo Boo?

Yesterday, Cannon burned his finger helping me put cheese on our cheeseburger pie (I know, bad mommy!).

He asked for it to be kissed many times last night.

He and Brett were laying in bed and Cannon stretched out his finger and said something that sounded like "boo boo" so Brett reached over and gave Cannon's little finger a GREAT big kiss.

Apparently, Cannon was handing him a "bug" he had just picked out of his nose.

One Man's Junk...

Okay, this is totally out of character for me but today I BECAME A DUMPSTER DIVER! Well, not really. Um, yeah I did!


After, we left the aquarium today Cannon feel asleep. It was took us about 20 minutes to get home so I decided to drive around and let him sleep for an hour. I was driving through the various neighborhoods when I noticed that someone had this great Art Desk sitting with their "trash". I drove by and thought I should get that! And, I did! I made sure no one was looking and shoved it into the back of my car!


Cannon and I spent the afternoon giving it a little bath! It only needs a dry erase board and I called Step 2 today and they are sending it for FREE!


I am so exicted about this desk. I have often thought it would be nice to have an easel for all our art projects. Currently, I tape paper to the kitchen floor and usually end up with more color on the floor that the paper!

If I was not so stoked about the desk, I would be very embarassed about how I acquired it! This is TOTALLY not me! But now, I am wondering if I should drive around the community every Wednesday and look for treasures!
