Frankie's Fun Park

We took the boys to Frankie's fun park. We've been a couple of times and always have fun but this was the first time that we went JUST to ride the rides. Cannon had a blast and you need to watch the video to remind yourself of how much a a daredevil he is. Yes, he let him ride a crazy ride and he loved it. The video also has soem cute moments of Sutton when he was just learning to walk.

Magical Disney Vacation: Day 1

On September 6th at 4:30 am we packed up our sweet boys and journeyed out on our first vacation as a family of four! Both boys donned their cute Mickey Mouse pajamas for the occassion!

My sweet friend, Joy, made this adorable hat for Cannon!

Sleepy Prince.

Around Kingsland, GA we decided to stop at the Waffle House for breakfast!

Here Cannon is singing, "fold hands and pray with me" to Sutton.

Cannon was a wild man running around the restaurant in his pajamas. All of the senior citizens got a real kick our of our "beautiful boys" which is what they all kept calling them. Cannon told them all we were going to "Mickey Mouse Disney World".

We arrived at our resort around 12:30pm. Check-in was not until 3 pm but they let us check in early! Yippee!! Already a magical start!

Smiling with his FIRST VISIT button!

Relaxing on one of our tiny beds!

For dinner we ate with Cinderella at 1900 Park Fare. If you know me, you know that I am not a fan of buffets but it was really good!! The chicken marsala had Brett up for 2nds and 3rds! I could not get enough of the little chocolate mouse cups. Yummo.

They had cute little buffets set up for the kiddos too! That Disney thinks of everything! The kids even had Mickey shaped plates!

Then all the characters came around to meet us. Cannon was very shy around all of them. After they all left, I asked him who is favorite was and he said Prince Charming! I was laughing so loud. Brett had a "talk" with him and he later said Cinderella was his favorite. My favorite was Lady Tremaine. She had the best facial expressions! She even told me that my necklace was fabulous! I should have sold that Lady some Premier Jewels!

We planned to end the evening with a parade and fireworks at Magic Kingdom but it rained and we decided to go back to the resort and get some zzz's before our big day at Animal Kingdom.

Happy Birthday, USA!

On July 3rd, our cute little town had a festival, Red, White and Blue on the Green. It consisted of games and jump castles for the kids and a non-motorized parade for all. It was the cutest little festival. FYI: I grew up in a small town and did not like it so I found it hilarious that i loved this "small town" festival.

Cannon riding his bike in the parade. Like the red hair? We bought some red and blue hair gel.

On July 4th, we met Sean and Lora at Patriot's Point. Their fireworks display has been voted one of the best in the nation by the New York Times and yet we have never been. Cannon really enjoyed it.

"yes, this is how i wear my glasses. so stop pointing it out to my mommy. she knows! they are comfortable like this. even daddy thinks so."

Cannon thought it was great that we all matched. He kept saying, "We match." "Mommy's a match, Daddy's a match, Baby Sutton's a match and Cannon's a match". Yes, we wore the same shirts both days and yes I washed them.
