Celebrating 5 Years

Brett and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary two weeks ago. No, this anniversary was not marked with a trip across the country to California or up North to New York but a different kind of trip! One across town! We spent our anniversary moving into our new home!

On one of my trips over to the new house I walked in and saw this Crosley record player over in the corner. I wondered where on earth it came from, upon closer inspection I noticed the inscription. When Brett and I were dating we listened to Otis Redding! This was our song!

"Wood" is the traditional gift for five year anniversaries. I think Brett did a GREAT JOB! I have been wanting a record player for a while since we acquired some old records from Brett's Mom.

I gave Brett a wooden plaque that has our names and "established 2003" on it.
