I am 23 months old!

I am 23 months old. I am amazing if I do say so myself. Can you believe I am almost TWO???

Well, believe it! I am changing everyday. I know that I have not been doing a good job with my monthly updates, but I am a busy boys these days.

New things about me:
I love Mickey Mouse. He is my pal. I have a stuffed Mickey and he likes to do everything I do. He colors with chalk, eats pancakes and plays with playdoh. Mommy and I each hold Mickey's hand to help him walk down the stairs. I love to say, "Oh Toodoodles" like Mickey and I also now say, "Oh Mommy, Oh Daddy" thanks to Anna.

Speaking of Daddy, when I call him and he doesn't answer I start saying, "Braaat, Braaat".

My favorite saying are: "Hold you, Mommy" and "Cannon does it". I use the later one all the time. I think Mommy gets annoyed with me, especially when I want to cook my own breakfast, pour my own milk, etc. I think she will appreciate it one day.

I still LOVE music, singing and dancing. I am always amazing the parents with all the songs I know!

Speaking of songs. I love to sing "Rock a bye, Baby" to my baby brother. I lay on Mommy's tummy and rock back and forth and sing to the baby. I am always cracking Mommy up with my conversations to the baby. I also like to take the baby's "hand" (by putting my hand on Mommy's belly) and then I take the baby places and show him stuff. I also read him books. I really love to give him kisses and hugs.

I counted to 14 last week while I was playing with my playdoh with NO HELP and I counted 16 steps with Daddy.

I know more colors too. I still prefer to say everything is GREEN but I know pink, green, brown, purple, black and white. This week Mommy asked me about the color pink and I amazed her by telling her Reagan (my neighbors) Barbie car was pink. I just knew this all on my own. She was impressed!

I am a big helper too. I help Mommy do the laundry, vaccum, sweep, dust and even help Daddy fix things.

Lately, I have been putting myself in timeout. If I do something bad, Mommy will say "No, Cannon do not throw that" and I say, "Time out" and go get in my chair. I do not need anyone to tell me when I am bad. I already know!

One of the things I say that Mommy thinks is cute is "C'mon Grammy" and I wave my hand at him to come. I also say "C'mon you guys" to my stuffed animals.

I am big, cute and quite the entertainer. I am pretty sure my parents think I am the BEST! Well, I AM you know.

Brave Friend

I could not take Cannon to my appointment today so my brave friend agreed to watch him for me. You may remember Rylee and Parker they were born on the exact day as Cannon. So Gina with the help of her husband had three 23 month olds today.
She took these cute pictures of them.

They were making silly faces at Brian (the Daddy).
I was so worried about him but he looks right at home.
Gina said he cried for less than a minute. Yay, Cannon!

Our Boys!

Our boys, I love how that sounds~

Cannon

Baby #2

It's Another BOY!!!

Today we found out that Cannon is going to have a baby brother!! I have been trying to teach him to say brother for a few days so now it is perfect! He actually touched my tummy today and said, "baby brother". Needless to say, I am SUPER excited! The only problem Brett and I are NOT agreeing on boy names! we had a girl name picked which I will not share because Brett thinks I will want a girl "down the road". I said I would not...but I did not say NEVER. I am learning to remove that word from my vocabulary.

Brett said he did not care if it was a boy or girl but he has already been talking about how he hopes they will be on the same football team at some point. :) I told him he now has a threesome for golf...should we add another so he never has to find anyone to play with?

We are both excited to see if he looks like Cannon. Will he be lucky enough to have those gorgeous blue eyes and blonde hair with perfect highlights (that all the women are jealous of)? Will he have a dimple too? I sure hope so, I just think Cannon is beautiful and I hope his brother looks just like him.

Cute little profile.

Oh yes! It is a boy!
The doctor said his heart, brain, lungs, and all his measurements were beautiful. Praise God for a healthy baby boy! Mommy is doing good, still having some sickness but mostly as a response to Cannon's yucky diapers. I found out at my last appointment that I have an umblical hernia and I see a surgeon on Jan 4th about that. So far I have gained 3 pounds which my doctor is pleased with, although to look at me you would think I had gained far more weight than that!
We are so excited to meet Baby Boy Corder this May.

Holiday Festival of Lights

Our friends, Michelle and Tracy with their precious little Davis, came to visit us for the day on Saturday. We took the boys to the Festival of Lights and ended with yummy, cheap Chinese food.

Marshmellow face.

This is a snake.

I was scared of this light bulb.

Roasting marshmellows.

Bundled Boys.

This is as close as I got to Claus Claus. I only like him from a distance.

Gingerbread House

We made a Gingerbread House this week. It was very interesting. First the house was broken and several places and needed to be repaired. Cannon placed all the candies, well minus the ones he ate and threw all over the kitchen. He seemed to think it was fun. The kitchen floor was a disaster! :) Now we have a cute little house. Cannon keeps asking us to gol him up so he can see it then he pulls candy off and eats it!

Mouth full of candy.

Christmas Parade

We went to the Mount Pleasant Parade last weekend. It is a really neat little parade. I just love that it is held at night and has lots lights. Cannon sat on my lap and watched until the raqin ran us away. This parade was Cannon's first parade last year. My how much he has grown!

Cannon really loved all the music. Here he is dancing with his new best friend, Mickey Mouse.
