Happy First Birthday, Sutton
Sutton,
My dear sweet, second born child. When you look back over all I have written over the years and all the pictures I have taken, please do not for a second think that I loved you less because there are less words or less pictures for/of you.
One day you will see that having two kids makes you MUCH busier and there are things that you plan to do but never get around to.
I do love you sooo much my sweet, sweet boy. There is no way to explain the immense joy that you have brought to my heart. Cannon made me a Mommy but you made us a FAMILY.
Before, I became pregnant with you I had a miscarriage. It was a very sad time for me. Loosing that sweet baby was very hard but without that loss I would have never had you. You are my little miracle. Mommy and Daddy wanted you so badly and we treasure you so much.
Oh little miracle of mine, I pray that you will grow in wisdom and stature. I pray that you will gain favor in the eyes of God and man. I pray that you will grow to be a man of God. I pray that you will be a Godly man of integrity. I pray that you will always have a special, close relationship with your brother. I pray that you will seek God first, dwell on His words and love Him with all your heart.
You are so special my dear boy and I love you so much.

Sutton's Baby Dedication
On Mother's Day we had Sutton's Baby Dedication at our church. You may remember that we had Cannon's last year. You can read more about that here.
Our church is not claiming salvation for the child but the church along with family and friends make a covenant to help raise support and lead him on a Godly path.
We were asked to select a "Life Verse" for him that we read on Sunday. We chose the following:
Ephesians 3:16-19 (New International Version)
I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
