Many of you may remember our friends Paul and LeAnn and the tragic loss of their little girl. They started a foundation in her name.
On February 19th 2009 a resolution was passed in the State Senate recognizing the efforts of the Lilli Grace Foundation. On March 17th Paul will head to the capital for the presentation of the resolution in the Senate Chamber on that day. They are so blessed by this event and are humbled to have Lilli Grace honored.

Giddity up!
Okay, these videos are a little old. I was trying to talk Brett into typing "horse race commentary" to go along with these. I have not been able to convince him so I thought I would just post these.
This is the newest of the videos. He has actually learned to get on and off this horse by himself. He actually rocks so hard that I am worried he will tip it over. At Kindermusik, we have been learning a song, "Giddity up Horsey, Giddity up go, Giddity up horsey, Go Go Go!". I usually sing this when he climbs on the horses. This week he started walking over to his horses and saying "Get".
This video is a little older. His hair is so long here.
Okay...I have a few more that are not uploading for some reason. I will try again later.
Our Week
We have had GORGEOUS weather over the last few days and Cannon
and I had a lot of fun playing outside.
Yestersay we went on a treasure hunt. We walked around the neighborhood and LOOK at the treasures we found: two rocks, a stick, a leaf, two peices of styrofoam, a piece of blue plastic

BOYS Will Be BOYS
WELL...I think the title says it all!
Brett got a few new "lures" for his fishing tournament and
decided he needed to see how they would behave in the water.
Important Updates
Okay, I have been slack on some on Cannon's milestones...
1. He said good-bye to his bottle about 4-5 weeks ago. He drinks from a cup now.
2. He has been eating "real" food for months and months now but I was still suplementing with baby food because I did not think he was getting "enough" due to the fact that he got lazt chewing. Well, for about 4-5 weeks now he has only had "real" food. He typically eats whatever we eat! No more baby food. Tonight, he had chicken and dumplings!
3. He only takes one nap a day.
4. He can climb down the stairs. He actually does a "belly slide" down the stairs.
5. He can get on and off his rocking horse (the big one) by himself.
6. He can point to a "cat" and to a "bird" when looking at several picture cards in a group.
7. He can say "stop" but sounds like "pop".
8. He can almost climb completely out of the tub.
9. He can "almost" run.
10. He still cannot sleep through the night.
