Road Trip to Visit the Clinton Family

This weekend we went to visit our friends, Chris and Cheryl and their little girl, Anna Kate. We got there LATE Friday night because we had a LONG stop in Columbia because Brett had a business function to attend. On Friday, we were all lazy and just hung out! Friday night we went to P.F. Chang's! This place is awesome. I ate at one in Memphis and I am so sad that we do not have one anywhere around here. They have the best lettuce wraps!! Yummo.

On Saturday, we ate lunch at Chris's favorite restaurant, Chiptole. I had a terrible migraine so we ended our day short and I spent the afternoon in bed! On Saturday night, Chris and Brett went to see the Panthers vs Redskins game. Cheryl and I stayed at home with the babies, ordered take out and watched a movie!

We left Sunday morning in time for Cannon's nap! It was so great to see our friends. They used to come over and eat with us every weekend. Many Sunday nights when Brett and I are having dinner, we miss the Clintons eating with us.

Cannon Tour '08 Final Day

On the last day of the Cannon Tour we went to the Lovelace Family Reunion and then he headed home. Here are a few pictures of our "rest stop" on the way home.

We had a great trip! Cannon was an "angel baby" and everyone enjoyed our little boy!

Happy Fourth of July!

On Friday, we headed to Beckley, WV.

That night we went to a cookout at Jim and Sandy's house.

Look at his mouth. He watched the "pre" fireworks in amazement! The noise did not even scare our tough little boy! He loved it! When the fireworks stopped he kept looking around for more. We were not brave enough to take him to the "real" fireworks at 10pm! Maybe next year.

Cannon Tour '08 (continued)

On Thursday, Brett's cousin Korenne came over with her kids.

After lunch, we went over to the Corders' in Proctorville, Ohio. Cannon meets his Great Grandparents for the first time. We really enjoyed spending time with them. We had a great dinner with the best corn-on- the-cob ever! They really enjoyed Cannon.

Cannon Tour '08

Shortly after Cannon was born, Brett began planning Cannon Tour '08! It was really important to him to travel to West Virginia to let his grandparents and extended family meet the FAMOUS CANNON!

So last week, the CANNON TOUR 2008 commenced!

On Tuesday, we traveled to Rock Hill, SC and spent the night with GiGi and Grandpa Corder. Cannon saw horses for the first time and did not like them. Apparently, he takes after his dad.

On Wednesday morning we hit the road. We traveled a few hours before "squatting" at a KOA campground for lunch and a car break for Cannon. We pruchased fried chicken from Aunt Mae's and headed over to the campground. Cannon lounged around on his blanket while we ate. We spent an hour there before hitting the road again.


We arrived in Barboursville, WV on Tuesday and Cannon meet his Great Grandpa Vance for the first time. He also meet his Great Aunt Tammy.



Grandpa Vance took us out to eat at Logan's Steakhouse. Cannon sat on the table in his Bumbo and was the center of attention for everyone in the restaurant. Grandpa told us funny jokes and we had a good time!

Savannah Trip

Last weekend, we went to Savannah. We stayed with our friends Josh and Ashley. Brett played volleyball, went fishing twice, and even attended the famous "So you think you're an Athlete" Competition! He was in need of some guy time, or should I say "JOSH time"!

Last Vacation?

To celebrate of 4 year Wedding Anniversary, Brett and I went to California. We stayed in San Francisco, took at day trip to Napa Valley and to Monteray and Big Sur. Here are some photos:

Excited About Travelin'

For weeks and weeks I have been asked, "Have you felt the baby move?" and my response has been, "No!"

Last Saturday, I went on a little shopping spree and as I waited at the stop light I felt a "gurgle" high on my right side that lasted for a few minutes, stopped and then repeated. I thought this is too high for gas or hunger pains. Or is it? I know that all of my organs are shifting around...where is my stomache now?

Over the last few days, I have felt it several times but I was still unsure if it was the baby.

Today, I told this baby that we are going to San Francisco in a few days and "it" has been "jumping for joy" ever since! Tonight, "it" has been moving like CRAZY!

All this time "it" was waiting around for a vacation to make "it's" presence known. I wish I had known, I would have made Brett take me somewhere sooner.

Memorial Day Weekend in Boca Raton

For Memorial Day Weekend we visited our friends Gianna and Mike in Boca Raton, Florida. It was a wonderful weekend filled with yummy food and RELAXATION!

We enjoyed two afternoons on Katherine's boat! I NEED one.

We also went to a Marlins vs. Mets game!

We cannot wait two years to see each other again!
