Andy Bite Me
For those of you that do not know. Cannon had another "first", hopefully a "last" .
Cannon as biten by a dog on Saturday night around 8pm. We took him to the emergency room and he got 4 stitches (lip/above lip). We did not leave the hospital until about 4am. Late night!
He seems fine. He is annoyed with his medicine but that about it.
However, please be praying for him. I am worried about how it is going to scar. He has a bad scar on his nose from another incident about two years ago. So please pray, that the scaring will be minimal.

Seats!
Sutton has outgrown in car seat so we bought him a new one. I was torn because I really wanted to buy him a brand new seat of his own but I felt like the right thing to do was give him Cannon's seat. Then I could buy Cannon a new one that would last until he was older.
I decided to get Cannon a new seat. Then I started to talk to him about it and asked if he wanted to get a new seat and give Sutton his seat. He said, "No, I do not want to share with Sutton. It is my seat".
I asked him because I was a little worried that he might feel this way. My friend, Joy, mentioned it and the more I thought about it I thought she might be right.
I am so glad I asked him first instead of buying the seat and having him freak out!
I am sure some of you parents (that are way better at parenting than me) think that I am the Mom and I should have just made him get a new seat. Maybe.
But Cannon has been in this seat since he was 6 1/2 months old, two years this has been HIS seat. I could not take it from him.
Anyway, I got the seat and I am excited. Sutton can use it rear-facing until he is 35 pounds (which I intend to do...are you aware that you should keep your child rear-facing until they reach the weight limit of the seatfor rear-facing?), forward facing until 65 pounds and then converts to a booster up to 1oo pounds!! I would have prefered a solid color. I told the sales rep. "why can't I just buy them in brown, black or grey?" She laughed and said most people ask "why can't I find a more colorful one?"
As a side note : Sutton (5 mths) now weighs what Cannon did at 6.5 mths. WOW!
So Sutton has a new seat. I will be sure to post pictures of him like I did with Cannon. Check back soon.
