Rotten

Cannon is learning to push his boundaries and see just how much he can get away with. Last week, he was playing in the guest room while I was trying to clean it. He kept going over to the bookshelf to remove the books from the shelf, which is a "no no". I told him "no" once and moved him away from the bookshelf.
(Bear with me here as I hope I can describe this so that you can imagine it).
Okay, so he decided that he wanted to try it again. He began walking over to the bookshelf sideways with his little head turned toward me so he could watch me. He had the biggest smile on his face as he walked over. I said, "no" and he began to giggle. He kept grabbing the book and then I started to walk over to stop him and he started laughing hysterically! He did this three times until I finally just removed them from the room.
Tonight, Brett had a similar experience. There was a spot on our bedroom wall that was damaged and the drywall was peeling a little. Well, Cannon decided to rip it off and run out of the room with this piece of drywall. Brett said, "no no" and went chasing after him. Cannon thought it was funny. So he came back in the room and tried to do it again but there was nothing to rip off the wall this time. Brett was still telling him "no touch". Cannon would "inch" over to the wall to barely touch it with his finger just to hear Brett say "no". Brett said he continued this game for 45 minutes. Apparently, "no no" is now a game. We are in for it...

I totally understand! Parker is doing the same thing. However he only does it with anything that is plugged in (especially the nite light in his room). He looks at me and then starts to touch it and then smiles and giggles when I say "no no" and then touches it anyway. And Rylee has decided to bite Parker every chance she gets...I thought it would get easier as they got older!
