On Sunday, we decided to take Cannon on his first beach trip. As I placed him in the sand for the first time, I had Brett poised to take his first beach photo. Cannon immediately dug his hands in the wet sand and then brought those little hands right up to his mouth. Brett began screaming, "No, Cannon!" While I sat laughing, "Take the picture!". I knew he would probably eat the sand, I guess Brett had no idea. He thought it was gross. I assured him that there would be things more gross than sand in Cannon's future. Well, Cannon loved the sand. Finally, I had to remove him from it so he would have room for lunch.
Mommy, why don't you ever make THIS for dinner?

I some of these exact pictures of Canon at his first trip. He was terrified of the water the first time, but the sand was a hit so he warmed up pretty fast! :)
I can't believe he ate it!! I am not sure AK would..she has a thing about texture haha
