For the past week, I have been trying to think of ways to get my Doctor to an ultrasound so I could see and hear the baby. When you stop feeling nauseous all day you stop feeling pregnant too. I was in need of reassurance.
After a 2 hour wait, the nurse used this doppler machine to listen for a heartbeat. At first we heard NOTHING, so she just kept moving it around. Just as I was about to freak out, we heard it! It was 160 bpm! I have to say I was quite relieved that this machine was used on my belly and not where I thought she planned to place it.
This was my first visit where I actually really liked my doctor! He is growing on me!!!
My next appointment is in 4 weeks.

The first time the doc did the doppler thing - it took a bit to hear the heartbeat and I freaked out too! When I told Tracy that Cannnon's heartbeat was 160bpm, he said - that was Davis's too! Maybe it is a girl - maybe they'll be soul mates...
