On Saturday, we went to ANOTHER Easter Egg Hunt. This time I knew exactly what to do! You see on Friday night, Mom "trained" me on how to hunt eggs. Basically, she filled all my plastic eggs with my favorite organic teddy grahams and I went around and picked them all up and ate all the cookies! So needless to say, on Saturday I was ready for more cookies!!

I love this guy! He is almost as nice as Santa Claus.

My Mimi and Poppy came to see me this weekend.

I took Mimi on a walk. I tried chasing these ducks and Mimi was so scared. She tried to make me get back on a buggy. But I said NO! Mimi was so worried about the ducks chasing me.

My Mimi and Poopy brought me an Easter basket. Apparently, the Easter Bunny dropped it off in Conway. Silly bunny.

The Easter Bunny is cool. He brought me a new bubble blowing lawn mower AND a swimming pool!!!

Thanks Easter Bunny (aka Mimi and Poppy!) I really loved spending time with you all this weekend. I love when you come stay with me. I hope to see you soon. Love-Cannon

Good Friday

My Mom decided to help plan the Summerville Moms Club Easter Egg Hunt. It was held on Good Friday. My Mimi even came with us.

Wow, Ms. Gina put Fruit Snacks in her eggs! My Mom put organic cookies in our eggs and all her Mommy friends made fun of her. But I loved it! Every egg I opened had an unwrapped, ready-to-eat cookie just for me!

Here I am with all my eggs. Egg Huntin' is okay but...

Pouring the eggs out of my basket is way better!

This is the bunny cake my mom made. I just realized I never got any!

Please Do Not Feed The Fish

Today at the aquarium, Cannon kept trying to feed the fish. They were not interested so he fed The Devric instead!

This blog is about our family, mostly our precious boys; Cannon and Sutton, but you will find it a window into our lives.

Brett and I met and fell in love over waiting tables at the Original Benjamin's Seafood Buffet in Myrtle Beach, SC. We dated for about 4 years and were married September 2003 at Litchfield Plantation. We lived in Savannah for five years and now reside in Summerville SC.

Our beautiful boys were born 2008 and 2010.

We are amazed everyday by the gifts that are our children. They are a reminder of God's unconditional love for us. Someone once told me that you cannot begin to understand God's love for you until you have a child and it is so true. God sent His Only Son to DIE for us. I am not sure we knew what kind of sacrifice that truly was until having children of our own.

We love the Lord and strive to live our lives in accordance with His will. We are not perfect. Yes, we fail daily but find ourselves back at the cross willing to try again.

Our firstborn son. He made me a Mommy, Brett a Daddy! He is beautiful...inside and out! He has a the most gorgeous blue eyes and dimple to match. This kid is going to break some hearts! He is our athlete. He loves anything with a ball. He already has a great baseball arm and can hit a golf ball over our fence! He is spirited and loving. He is a lover for sure! He loves to give hugs and kisses and to cuddle. He will just grab my face and give me a million kisses. He loves books and music and art! He knows more songs that I do. I joke he has music in his bones. I often hear him singing while playing alone. So cute. He has a great sense of humor already and he fills our days with laughter! Who knew having kids would provide endless entertainment. He is becoming an amazing big brother and already tells Sutton that he "loves him so much". He loves to drink chocolate milk. Loves eat pancakes, hummus, edamame, and peanut butter and jelly! He has a huge sweet tooth just like Daddy. He is already showing that he loves God and Jesus and even beginning to relate the things in God's word to our world. Amazing! He is fearless and cautious at the same time. He is often called a daredevil and is usually the first kid to jump, climb, and run.. with no regard to danger (He laughs in the face of danger!! Ha). But he is very cautious around new people. He is creative and imaginative and smart, loves to create and destroy, has more energy than you can imagine, loves to scream and laugh and RUN!!! Watch out, this kid will run away with your heart.
