Blog

I am so behind on blogging! Almost a year behind. My computer has been dead forever and I am not a fan of blogging on my ipad.

I did turn on my old computer and it seems to be working better so I am using it for now. I plan to drop them both off to get looked at next week, maybe?

The kids are out of school now which makes errands more interesting. :)

Since this is our "Baby Book" for both boys I really plan to go back and blog at least the pictures I have all the way back to JULY of LAST YEAR!!!

I am taking way less pictures that I used to so blogging shouldn't be that big of a deal these days. I am going to try to start blogging at least a snippet of each day.

I feel like I am going to forget so many sweet memories and details and I really want to be able to go back and read them.

So enough of my rambling! I'm pretty sure I only have two blog readers anyway. :) You know who you are. :)

Fishing

Every morning, I go into Sutton's room and he asks, "Where Daddy go?"
Every morning, I say, "Daddy is at work".
Every morning, he says, "NO! He fishing".

Scared? Wicked?

Kids say the cutest things!

Cannon this week was playing in the playroom, something happened and he came running into the living room and said, "Mommy, that just scared me to life!"
Later on, he was looking at Elephant, our hamster, and said, "he is wicked big". (No one in our house says "wicked".

Pretty Girl

Sunday morning, I wore a bright green dress to church. Sutton didn't see me until I got into the car. He started saying, "Mommy, pretty girl, pretty girl". Yes, he has stolen my heart for sure!

Happy SECOND Birthday, Sutton

Dear Sutton, Where do I begin? Watching you grow over the second year of your little life has been one of the most special times for me. You are the most amazing little two year old. You have been a JOY, raising you is a pure joy. You are so easy, so happy, so content, so loving, so cuddly, so funny and so adorable! It seems that everyone that meets you remembers you. You have a magnetic little personality. Not to mention, you are probably the cutest little two year old anyone has ever seen in their lives. Everyone is always commenting on your personality and good looks. :) At church you are known for your "good listening", being "a ladies man", pouting every time you walk in the room long enough for someone to notice and then you run off to play, being "laid back", "so good", "an angel", "well-behaved", "easy", "funny" and "a lover". I would have to agree with all these adjectives, you are all this and more! You still sleep through the night and very often you sleep past 8am. You still take one nap a day. You are not the best eater. I joke that your three food groups are: yogurt, apple sauce and granola bars. The only meat you eat is nuggets from Chick-Fil-A. You LOVE books and singing. Every night we read many books, one of which is the Bible. Then we turn out the lights, snuggle and sing. You can sing so many of your favorite songs. You always request "Jesus Loves Me" and "Twinkle Star". When we put you in your bed you roll onto your tummy and asked to be covered up with your blankie and we have to sing at least one more song. You are still nursing about once a day. I am beginning to wonder if you are ever going to stop! When you grow up I am sure you might think, why did my Mom nurse me after I was TWO? Since you will never be a Mom, you will never truly understand but let me assure you that it is a very special bond between a mother and child, it brings amazing comfort and nutrition. I pray that you will be a huge support for your wife one day when she nurses your children. Your favorite books are the "Bear Snores On" (you have this entire book memorized), "Chicka Chicka Boom Boom", "My First Animals Book", "Pajama Time", and I am sure I am missing a few! I pray that you continue to be the BRIGHT spot in the lives of so many people. I pray that you allow God to be the center of your life and allow Him to touch people through your sweet spirit. My dear boy, this songs sums up my prayers for you. Be strong in the LORD and, Never give up hope, You're going to do great things, I already know, God's got His hand on you so, Don't live life in fear, Forgive and forget, But don't forget why you're here, Take your time and pray, From one simple life to another, I will say, Come find peace in the Father, I love you with my whole heart. -Mommy
