Tooth!
Sutton has his first tooth! I found it today. I am amazed. He still has 10 days before he turns 4 mths!!! How can he have a tooth????
I am so glad he has a tooth though, sleeping has been difficult since we got back home from Mimi's house. At night, he has been waking constantly. I could not figure out what was wrong but now I know!

A Letter from Poppy

Sweet Boys, I am writing you this because Poppy did not have a chance to. Poppy was taken to Heaven before He had the chance to say Good-bye. Daddy and I are deeply saddened that you will not have your own memories of him. He loved you both so deeply and you were his pride and joy!
If he had written you a letter he would have said:
To My little Burr Head, Cannon and Big Sutton,
Although my life on earth was cut short, the time I spent with you two were some of the most breath-taking moments of my life. I am so proud to have you as my grandsons. I have talked about you to everyone I know, extended family, close friends and collegues, they all know your names and know all about you. I beam with pride when I say your names.
I had so many plans for you, so many things I wanted to do with you. Many weekends filled with boat rides, fishing trips, donuts and "Poppy Juice". Your Mimi and I were filled with so much love and joy when each of you entered the world. You two have made these last 2.5 years of our lives so full of blessings!
I know you may be sad that I will be missing at many important milestones in your lives...holidays, birthdays, first t-ball game, catching your first fish, hitting that homerun, your first heartbreak, vacations, defeats, graduation, college, marriage and even kids of your own. Just know, that I might not be with you in physical form but I am standing with Jesus cheering you on from the sidelines of Heaven. I will always be with you, loving you, watching over you, rooting for you.
There will be moments in this life that you do not know what to do, trust in God and in your parents. Listen to that small voice that speaks to you. You will do great things.
I am so blessed to be your Poppy. My prayer for you is that you Know God, Love Him and Believe in Him and His Son Jesus Christ. That you will seek Him with all your Heart.
You will see me again, one day, after you have lived a long, long, fruitful life here on this earth. God will call you home and we will see each other again. I cannot wait to hold you in my arms again, my precious, precious boys.
Until that day, remember I love you both and having you as Grandsons was one of my greatest rewards on this Earth.

Waterpark
One of the things we did all summer was go to the waterpark. We bought season passes and definitely got our money's worth. I realized after all our trips I had not taken any pictures. Finally, I had my camera and snapped a few.
Cannon so loves the waterpark. All of my Mom friends are always commenting on how much of a daredevil he is. He really likes the water.

Good-byes
Remember this playgroup? Well, it was our first playgroup with the Sullivan Twins. Sadly, this week we had our last. They are packed up and moving to Seattle! We are so sad to see our first Summerville friends move away. We will really miss you: Brian, Gina, Parker and Rylee!

Can you believe Gina never ate Shrimp and Grits? Well, it was only appropriate that she does days before she leaves.
