Several weeks ago I took Cannon to Rolly Pollies and he tried this zipline for the first time. He was amazing! No one could believe it was his FIRST time. The video below is more recent but he did exactly the same thing his first try!

Girlfriend
If you spend anytime around Cannon you will soon know that he is a lover, a big time giver of kisses and hugs!
His teacher at school says he asks for kisses and hugs all the time.
About two weeks ago, Ms. Deena said that Cannon and a little girl in his class, Elizabeth were sitting together and Elizabeth laid her head on Cannon's shoulder. Apparently, Cannon took this as an invitation to give her tons of kisses.
Monday when I picked him up she was telling me that they always sit together and that they hold hands throughout the day!
Can my two year old have a girlfriend already?

Party Like a Rock Star
Happy Birthday, Rock Star! Cannon LOVES music, dancing and making music and I have known since his first birthday party that he needed to party like a rock star at his 2nd one. We had a blast celebrating with our family and friends. Thank you all for helping us celebrate this special day for our most precious boy! We are so grateful to have you all in our lives, We love you.

Parker, Rylee and Cannon have the same birthday. On Saturday while Cheryl and I were getting the house ready for Cannon's party, Anna and Cannon went to theirs. Their Mommy sent me a few pictures since I missed the party.
2 Year Well-"Baby" Checkup
(Update: My friend Elizabeth said if her peditrician said if you double your child's height at age two then that is how old they will be as an adult...so Cannon might not be as tall as Uncle Ryan).
Today we visited Cannon's pediatrician the wonderful Dr. Tina Tripp (an old friend from Savannah).
Cannon was precious! I can remember when he went for his one year checkup and wanted NOTHING to do with her. He cried if she touched him! Today was different. He gave her a hug and a kiss and flirted with her like crazy! He ran around and giggled (A LOT), said his ABC's, a couple of colors and more. It was a great visit.
He got a vaccination today and a finger prick. He was not happy about it. As the nurse was apologizing he kept saying "bye bye" trying to get her to leave the room. It was funny.
Okay, so his stats...
Head: 49.4 cm - 75th percentile
Weight 33lbs - 97th percentile
Height 36.5 in. OFF THE CHART!! This is very pleasing to Daddy as he does not want his little boy to be short like me! He has big sports aspirations for him and is hoping that he will be 6' 5" like Uncle Ryan!
I was really surprised that his weight is up to the high 90's again, it has been going down our last few visits but Dr. Tripp said it was due to his height and thinks he will be a tall boy!
He doesn't have to visit the doctor again for an entire year! Unless he is sick. :( Knock on wood. A little update on his "asthma/reactive airway disease"...he had his first cold over the last two weeks and he was MEGA snotty and did not have ANY wheezing/ major coughing whatsoever! So I am thinking the twice daily Flovent is helping!! Yay!

Mickey Mouse Party
Last week we made cupcakes for Cannon's class and he had a little Mickey Mouse party at school.

Mepkin Abbey
Last week Joy and I took Cannon and Dev to a monastery. It was a long drive and due to the fact that it was winter the gardens were a little disappointing. However, the boys had a great time.
My child was WILD. He was running around like crazy, I could not keep up with him. I can only imagine what it is like when I am 9 months pregnant.
I had to include this picture because my wild child climbed down from this wall. We were all walking up on the hill above, Cannon got to the wall. I thought he stopped. I look away and he was gone and calling "Mommy"! I get to the bottom of the steps and there he is. Apparently, he climbed down this wall!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
