Christmas in Rock Hill

On the rode again. We left Conway, SC on December 25th at 9:30pm and headed to Rock Hill, SC. What a whirl wind of a day!

Later the next day, I was so excited to see "My presents!"

Gigi and Grandpa said this wagon was for me and my little brother. Gigi said that Daddy and Uncle Sean loved playing with the wagon when they were little. I think Mommy is more excited about this ALL TERRAIN wagon. She thinks she is hauling my brother and I to the beach in it this summer!

A Little People Tractor to go with my Farm! Yay!

Did you see that I got Lincoln Logs? Daddy is super excited about those. He LOVES Lincoln Logs.

This little tractor plays music. Grandpa and I were letting our fingers dance to the music.

My Gigi and I cuddling.

I am showing her how my bus works. It plays music too and even has a little girl with a wheelchair.

I needed another wagon ride.

We had a fun day and headed back home.

Christmas at Grampy's

After we left Nana's house we went to visit my Dad, "Grampy".

We ate yummy appetizers and then jumped right into presents! The kids were wild and honestly, I am not sure if anyone knows what anyone else got! They wanted to open every present and were fighting over the presents too. They were still cute though.

Peyton reading her book from Grampy.
Grampy got Cannon his first glove and baseball. He immediately started pushing the ball in the glove like a pitcher. Where did he learn that? ESPN?
Oh...I think this might be my train set! Grampy also got me a train table! It will be here soon.
Pretty Peyton.
Cute Cousins.

Oh no, do not kiss me. Nooooooo.
Time to celebrate the birth of Jesus!
We made Jesus birthday cupcakes!

YUM.
Chad and Peyton.

Christmas with Nana and the Hardee Family

On Christmas Day, we went to my Aunt Toni's house to celebrate with my Mom's family. Afterwards, we went to my Mom's house and Cannon was super excited to get his new friend.

I just realized that I took tons of pictures of Cannon and virtually none of our families. You all come on here to see Cannon anyway, right?

Kisses

If conversations about private parts offend you...STOP READING this. It may be to much information but this is my blog and I can post whatever I wish!

Everytime Cannon has a "boo boo" Mommy has to kiss it! It has always been very cute but tonight was not so cute...FUNNY yes, but cute?

Brett just changed Cannon's diaper and he was whining and said he had a "boo boo". Daddy asked where and Cannon said his penis. Apparently, he had a little "issue" that most boys get when they need to pee pee. He kept saying, "boo boo" and then looked at Brett and said "Mommy, kiss". Then came running over to me to show me his boo boo. Fortunately, I was able to consol him with a big hug and then he was fine.

But Brett and I were laughing hysterically! We will use this to embarass him one day!

Christmas Morning

I was soooooo excited for Christmas morning. I know Brett was too. We felt like this was Cannon's first Christmas since he knew more about what was going on and was so excited about opening his presents.

During the day on Christmas Eve, Brett put his drums and bike together. He struggled Christmas night to get with the tent but it finally it came together. We placed the sleeping bag from Poppy in there with his stocking.
A little elf popped in with a John Deere tractor.

Christmas morning. We walked into the room and he went straight to Daddy to look at the video camera. He wanted to use it. He did not even look at the toys!

Then he noticed the drums. Probably the cheapest item he received and the one he liked the most!

So happy.

Now look at that smile! He loved the Thomas Train going around the track!
Santa left half a cookie!!!!
Just noticed the tractor. A total surprise to Mommy, Daddy and Cannon. That Santa is sneaky.
Oh wow.
I knew Santa would bring me a bike.

Time to color!
Practicing for my ROCK STAR birthday party!
A remote control car for Cannon or Daddy?
Time to clean this place up!
Santa left crumbs in my tent.

Christmas Eve at The Lovelace Home

As our tradition goes, we spent Christmas Eve at Mimi and Poppy's house.
I decided to make Cannon do a little modeling before dinner.

"Mom, enough with the pictures!"

Seriously?

"Let's get to the presents! MY PRESENTS!"
Cannon is obsessed with presents and opening presents. He wakes up every morning and says "My presents, my presents".

Poppy got Cannon a sleeping bag, a tent and a little chair. But for some reason he is not willing to take him camping. He said he wants Brett to try camping in the backyard first.

With Uncle Sean.

The only family picture from the weekend.
Wearing Poppy's hat.

Trying out the camping chair.
Brett thought it would be hilarious to give Sean a Snuggie.
