Cannon HAD a Secret

I had a secret. It was my secret and Mama and Dada's too. But Dada spilled the beans (without talking to Mama, Oooooooo). So now I will share the news with you. I am going to be a BIG Brother! My baby brother (fingers crossed) will be here around May 18th! Am I ready for this?

Saturday with Daddy and Poppy

On Saturday, Dada and I had plans to go to Lowe's to build a firetruck. Poppy came into town last minute so he joined us. Yay for Poppy, now Mama has pictures.
I wore my goggles the whole time.
I was to short for the table, so Dada put my firetruck on the floor. Next time, I am taking my stool.

I am really good at this. I can hit the little nail just right.

I cannot wait until on next trip to Lowe's. I love this time with my Dada.

A Naughty Little Monkey for Sure

Cannon has decided that he needs to be true to his "monkey" nickname. All monkeys "hang" right? This is his new trick. He also does this on the dining room table. Oh and he has tried SEVERAL times to hang from the towel bar in the bathroom.

Yes, a naughty little monkey for sure.

Dinner

Cute video of Cannon eating dinner.

Worms

On Sunday I pressure washed both porches. When I was cleaning the back porch we noticed a bunch of earth worms coming out of the ground where the water was landing. So we decided that we needed to remove all the worms before the bleach killed them. Cannon and Brett proceeded to pick up TONS of worms and relocate them to a safe location in the yard. Cannon was such a big helper.

This poor worm was the last one he "saved" from the bleach but not from his little fingers! Poor worm.

Lowe's

Last Saturday, we went to Lowe's to build a drum. They class was FULL so we got our drum to go and came home and made it!

Charlestowne Landing

Last Friday was Friday Funday for Cannon and Mommy! We had our very own date! We went to Charlestowne Landing with it is site of the first settlement in Charleston in 1640 (I think). We had a nice walk, talked to animals and basically had the park to ourselves.

I think the highlight of his day was the cannons and the turkeys!

It was such a beautiful day and I really enjoyed just spending time with my little man.

He is growing up so fast!

Turkeys!

Bison. He can actually say it too!

After we saw all the animals we finished up our walk and stumbled upon this pond with tons of turtles. They all starting swimming over towards us so we decided to feed them bagel chips!

Waterfront Park

Mount Pleasant has a beautiful new Waterfront Park.
We met Joy and Devric there for a little playtime and a GREAT view!

First Day of School

My first day of school was September 8th. Before school you must eat a good breakfast. Today I chose oatmilk. Well, MOST mornings I chose oatmilk.

Am I cute or what? It was Elmo's first day of school too.

I learned about shapes and the color blue. I already know what a circle is but the teacher needed to teach the other kids. :)
I do not really like to go to school but when I get there I love music and art!

Ikea and Alligators

I am a great boyfriend. Not only do I give gifts but I do so in abundance!

Anna and Taggie

I almost forgot to share a cute memory from on vacation. Cannon has been saying Anna since she was here in July. He asks for her often. He says it perfectly! So we just knew when we went to visit that Anna would be saying Cannon's name too! And guess what? She was! Only it sounds like "Taggie" which we all thought as totally adorable. So enjoy this picture of Anna and Taggie!

Wedding #2, Charleston, South Carolina

Bob, Brett's old boss, got married on Sunday in Charleston. He currently lives in Puerto Rico. The wedding was beautiful and it was a DATE NIGHT for Brett and I. My friend, Joy, kept Cannon for us.

Wedding #1, Clover, South Carolina

My youngest maternal cousin got married on Saturday in Clover, SC.

Here we are enjoying the festivities.

Lazy 5 Ranch

We journeyed to Lazy 5 Ranch for an "unforgettable" experience. Probably better suited for kids older than ours but we still had fun.

I think it is safe to say, that the giraffes may have been the highlight of everyone's day. They were so majestic. We LOVED them!

This animal is REALLY that close. I am pouring food in his mouth. CRAZY COOL!

You cannot tell here but Cannon was TERRIFIED of the emus and ostrichs. Actually, I think everyone was. We were forewarned of their aggressiveness but I do not think we were prepared. They kind of ruined the ride for Cannon.
