Memorial Day

On Memorial Day, we had a family day downtown.
We found a cute little park, played and had a delicious picnic.

Then we journyed over to waterfront park. Cannon started squealing as soon as he saw the fountain. So we undressed him and let him play! He loved it until a 10 year old plowed over him and made him hit his head on the concrete. Argh.

After all that fun, it took 2 minutes for me to fall asleep in the car.

Dentist!

I had my first Dentist visit on Tuesday. I DID NOT like it at all!

Here I am playing with these toys but do not let this fool you. I KNEW I was at a doctor's office the minute I got in that smelly place. I can just smell a doctor from a mile away. I did not let my Mom get very far away from me. She is actually sitting on the floor beside me.

Hallelujah! I am out of there! Thanks for the toothbrush!

I really needed this toothbrush because afterwards, my Mom took me to get my haircut and I ate THREE lollipops!

Potty Training, Well Sort of...

We are "sort of" potty training. Here is our progress. I am convinced he is only using the potty for M&M's. He truly has a sweet tooth that he inherited from Mimi and Daddy.

I empty my own potty.

Bye Bye, Pee Pee. I actually wave bye to my pee pee.

All that work and only two measly M&M's.

Oops, I Climbed Again...

What was I thinking? I went inside to get something, left my mischievous child outside,
and when I came back...

He was sitting on the patio table.
He had emptied all of the marigolds onto the concrete. They were sitting on the table so that they would be out of reach! HA!

Oops, I climbed Again!

I AM 16 months old!

Can you believe how big I am?
Oh yes! Big I , I am!
I am 16 month old today!

You would not believe all the things I can say and do!
Oh, the words I can say!
So many words, if my mom typed them all it would take all day!

At my last doctor's appointment I weighed 28.6 pounds (75th percentile) and my height also dropped to the 75th percentile. Cannot remember exactly how long I was!

If you follow my blog at all, you know all about me.
Just in case you do not follow my moms amazing blog, a little about me,
I am a walker and a runner, I serious climber,
A great eater, a seriously funny comedian, an accomplished dancer,
A golfer that even Tiger Woods would be jealous of, I am my Mommy's boy for sure,
I love cats like crazy and I am beginning to really like dogs too.
I love music and crayons, paint too.
I still do not like church nursery but I no longer cry the entire hour.

I love baths and bubbles, I still wear cloth diapers and I love babies.
I love to read and Chicka Chicka, Boom Boom is my favorite.
My favorite food is yogurt.
I am learning to use a potty!

I have all my teeth except my second year molars!
I have many friends and I am a happy boy!

This is my lady killer smile.

Can you see how much bigger I am than this bear? Do you remember some of my older pictures with this bear? Yeah...I know BIG and HANDSOME that is MOI!

I love to give hugs and kisses. Especially to my animal friends and my little human friends too. For some reason, I seem to be the kid that other kids like to hit!

Why?? I am a lover and not a fighter!

You see these teeth? I have almost all my teeth now. Thank the good Lord! Teething is miserable for me and all bystanders! Now, I can eat everything including hard granola. And yes, Mimi WHOLE grapes!

I am a sweet boy, so my Mom and Dad says! I am getting bigger every day!

This is me and today I am 16 months old.

Fun Day Friday

Fun Friday. We spent few hours playing outside.

Cannon has never sat in this sandbox of his own accord. If I put him in it, he would scream. He would play with the sand from the side only! Well, today he decided that he likes sand. So much so, that he even ate some. Yuck!

Watering the lawn!

More sand fun.

Climbing Part III

Dude!

Fishermen

Cannon is looking forward to fishing trips with Dad and Poppy! He feel he will be a MUCH BETTER fisherman that those two. I mean how hard can it be to catch ONE fish???

DIP!

i dip, you dip, we dip!
cannon now enjoys dipping his food.
his love for ketchup remind me of another "cannon boy" in my family.

"Hey Lolli Lolli Lolli, Hey Lolli Lolli O!"

Cannon was allowed his first Bank lollipop today. I normally say, no thanks.
Today, I thought he deserved a sugar filled treat!

Good Stuff!

Climbing Part II

This child is amazing! One day this week I asked if he was ready to eat and he signed the word for "eat", ran over and climbed into his car and said "eat"!

(This video was his first time climbing in his chair. He is now a pro and can get his feet in and all!)

Today Cannon climbed into his highchair again and said "eat". So I fed him, of course! After dinner, I removed him from his highchair and began cleaning up. When I went back outside to bring some things inside he was BACK in the highchair. I was completely amazed because it was much higher than it had been in the past. He was just sitting there, smiling.

Zoo Day

We went to the zoo with our friends Joy and Devric. Cannon's favorite little girl, Anna Kate, met us there for a day of FUN!

Anna is the happiest little girl.

Cannon and I posing with my favorite animal!

Cannon did not like these loud, smelly flamingos.

What a funny goat!

I am kissing this elephant. I love them just like Mommy but my favorite animal is a cat!

Tomatoes

The seeds have grown and we now have about 100 tomato plants! Oh no!

Surgery

As you know, I had to have surgery because I was having to many ear infections. A couple of days before my surgery, my girlfriend Anna Kate, sent me Blue Puppy (yes that IS his name, I am very creative!) Blue Puppy went with me to the hospital.

Here I am at the wee hours of the mornin' before my surgery.
Playing...I had to wait 1.5 hours before my surgery! Argh.
This is me after my surgery. I was a little wobbley.
This is me after I got home and had a nap. Oh and ate a peppermint pattie.Look at my "sharpie" earrings. They painted my ears so that would remember do put tubes in both ears. :)
