Kindermusik

I was able to get the owner of Kindermusik to come give our playgroup a "preview" of the upcoming Fall Semester class. It was so fun and Cannon loved "riding the horsey", the instruments and dancing around with his Mommy and friends. We are signing him up for his class that begins September 11. I Love Bananas

Cannon loves bananas! He used to eat his banana in this mesh thing. One time I placed mangoes inside of it. He hated them. Now everytime I give him the mesh thing he hestitates. Sometimes he will taste it like below. But most times he drops it.

Why do I taste a mango? Please take my banana out of this "mango infected" thing!

Oh yes, now we are talking!

I am having a hrd time getting it in my mouth. It is very slippery.

There is more banana on me than in my belly! Mom forgot the bib!

ANTS in my Pants! Well, Not Really!

ANTS! ANTS! ANTS!
I have had it with the ants!

When we moved into our apartment we had ants. They treated and treated and finally they went away, well kind of. We did not SEE any ants for about a month. Then we started seeing random ants. I went to the apartment office. They treated, again and again. Two weeks ago, I was upset because I was finding them in MY bed and in Cannon's bed. PLUS, he had little bites on his ankles and I had HUGE bites on my legs (they were not there when I went to bed!) Again, they treated. As always by spraying stuff around the walls. For the last 6 months the exterminator has been telling me that they were in the walls and had been since the building was built about 1.5 years ago. He had been asking to put holes in the wall but he had not been given permission by management.

WELL, on Tuesday morning we woke to a pantry FULL OF ANTS! They were in everything, even the peanut butter jar! Seriously, how does an ant get in a pb jar????? After trashing about $25 worth of food.

Seriously?

I decided to pay my Property Manager a visit. Needless, to say I had finally reached the limit! She said she would have them come out immediately. I then told her if I saw ONE more ant in my bed or Cannon's that I was moving out and I WOULD NOT pay a termination fee! The exterminator came out, FINALLY put holes in the walls and treated. Good news, I have not seen a single ant! Bad news, they only treated me.

They are supposed to do "something" to the entire building on Friday.

We might be looking for a rental home sooner than we thought...

I am SEVEN Months Old!

I am SEVEN months old.

I can do everything!

I can roll, sit up by myself, crawl ("army"), pull up and stand by myself!

I love to play, SCREAM and laugh.

Everyone loves my blue eyes and still comment on how happy I am.

Sometimes I am a good sleeper, sometimes I am not.

I like to eat and have recently decided that peas are Yummo!

I have added green beans, plums, blueberries and a few other s to my "favs".

I usually eat breakfast and dinner, sometimes lunch too!

I still HATE that crib thing. Why do Mom and Dad keep putting me in that contraption??

Please tell them to stop it! I will never like it, so STOP trying!

Everyday I try something new and amaze Mom and Dad.

Lately, they have been calling me a little clown.

I have to admit I do have a great sense of humor and I am quite entertaining.

I am friendly most days but sometimes men scare me.

Oh and I HATE dogs. Yes, I do! My mom did not make me say that!

I hate when they lick me, it makes me cry.

I hate it even more when they bark! That makes me cry even more!

But, when my cats meow, I smile. Cats are nice.

Recently, I began to really notice the two furry creatures living in my home.

I love to watch them, and smile at them. Sometimes I even grab 'em!

Ollie doesn't like that to much. He does like it when I pet him nice though.

My new favorite things are my remote control and my cell phone.

NO! These are not toys, but the REAL thing!

My Mom gave me an old remote and my Mimi gave me an old cell. Love 'em!

When I got to My Auntie Cheryl's house there was a bag full of goodies for me! I think she really likes me! I got shoes, an outfit, new silverware, bowls, and she even got stuff for my Mommy!

This is "Verdi Bla Bla". He is my new best friend. When Anna came to visit me she had a monkey like this and her name was Lollie Bla Bla. I liked her so much that her Mommy got me a Bla Bla Monkey too!

Road Trip to Visit the Clinton Family

This weekend we went to visit our friends, Chris and Cheryl and their little girl, Anna Kate. We got there LATE Friday night because we had a LONG stop in Columbia because Brett had a business function to attend. On Friday, we were all lazy and just hung out! Friday night we went to P.F. Chang's! This place is awesome. I ate at one in Memphis and I am so sad that we do not have one anywhere around here. They have the best lettuce wraps!! Yummo.

On Saturday, we ate lunch at Chris's favorite restaurant, Chiptole. I had a terrible migraine so we ended our day short and I spent the afternoon in bed! On Saturday night, Chris and Brett went to see the Panthers vs Redskins game. Cheryl and I stayed at home with the babies, ordered take out and watched a movie!

We left Sunday morning in time for Cannon's nap! It was so great to see our friends. They used to come over and eat with us every weekend. Many Sunday nights when Brett and I are having dinner, we miss the Clintons eating with us.

Bath

New High Chair

Our dear friends, Josh and Ashley, purchased Cannon this beautiful wooden high chair that we registered for. Brett put it together before Cannon was born. We noticed that the tray was a little tricky. We only used it recently. Actually, a little boy at our playgroup used it and he FELL out! I went online and staretd looking around and we were not the first people to have this probelm. So I decided to take it back. I really wanted to get the same high chair but my fears that a new one would have the same issue caused me to get a plastic one instead. It is not as pretty but here it is. Cannon loves sitting in the high chair MUCH better than the BUMBO.

I decided to let him fingerpaint with zucchini.
